270210 JB Trip
At the Woodlands Checkpoint, holding up our passports in pride. YEAH! Singapore FTW!
Tandas where?
GAY SHADES. Behind the shades, you TOTALLY CANNOT see a thing! *shrugs* 10SGD only.
Have you ever seen so many motorcycles in your life? A whole "sea" of them!Well, JB is fun to have lunch at, just not spending money at. Partly because there's not much to buy there and play there. Throughout our journey, the only fun thing we saw was the Karaoke outlet. We didn't see a single LAN shop, Pool Parlour, Bowling Alley, ARCADE. WTF!
We had lunch at Sizzling Stoneworks. Where a stone is super heated and they throw a chicken on it and it cooks and you eat it. The cost is RM13.99 which works out to be a lunch at a Singaporean foodcourt. Pretty worth it I guess.
We had coffee at Old Town coffeeshop in City Sq Mall before leaving. The coffee was great and only about $2 SGD. Hell you can't even get decent coffee from Starbucks without at least $7!
The City Sq mall is very close to the checkpoint. We took the JB-SG Causeway bus from Bugis all the way to the mall for SGD$2.30 and it took around 30 minutes to get into JB.
Played around before leaving for Plaza Pelangi by taking their city buses. Fucking scary if you asked me. I haven't even got myself on board and the driver applied gas and left while one of my foot was still on SOLID GROUND! Wtf nearly shat myself.
Their city buses have signs to show where they go and they cost RM1.30 which is about 50c SGD. It's like concession fares in SGP.
Buses are really like shit there by the way.. The stop bell on one of the bus is so loud that when a local pressed it, she got shocked by the EXTREMELY LOUD HORNING NOISE. ROFL. Her expression was priceless. She totally "chua sai".
Didn't go crazy shopping there. Only bought an Adidas Cologne for Ken and a belt for myself. Money is spent on makan.
That's all! Let's go again next month!
